It seems that Romania’s national carrier, TAROM, has found a buyer for its 4 Boeing 737-300s. They will exit the fleet, gradually, starting next month.

One 737-300 will go in October, another one in November, followed by the remaining two in December 2019 and January 2020. The jets are configured with 8 seats in Business Class and 126 in Economy. According to sources close to the company, at the moment TAROM has no plans to replace these 737s with other narrowbody jets.

Besides these 737-300s, TAROM has four 737-700s, four 737-800s, four Airbus A318s and nine ATRs 42 and 72. In June, right after Paris Air Show, TAROM has announced it will expand its fleet with 9 ATR 72-600s. The first ones will arrive beginning this Fall. Foto: Rares Mandu, Aeronews.ro
