On October 7th, a SilkWay West Boeing 747-400F (4K-SW008) landing in Prestwick from Baku almost touched the runway with its right engines nacelles. Daniel Sander on YouTube: “It was landing in a light crosswind, when on touchdown the right-wing dips down, nearly missing the runway, before the 747 swings back up sharply to the left, with left-wing nearly getting clipped as well. The pilots were then able to steady the 747, before coming to a stop, after what could have been a serious incident. This is the most extreme landing I’ve filmed to date, I’m surprised this wasn’t a go-around. I’ve also included a slow-motion clip at the end to show how close the 747 really was to clipping the runway.”
